Yasuda Logistics Corporation recognizes the importance of protecting personal information; we will make sure that our customers’ personal information (including specific personal information) is secured by incorporating the following policies:
  1. Our board members and employees will comply with the laws/guidelines as well as the regulations of our company regarding the protection of personal information.
  2. We will have persons in charge of the appropriate handling of our customers’ personal information.
  3. When we collect personal information from our customers, we will specify the purpose of use and collect personal information by proper means.
  4. We will handle the personal information we collect only within the scope necessary to achieve the specified purpose of use.
  5. We will not share personal information with a third party unless we obtain prior customer consent or it is justified by a legitimate reason such as required by law.
  6. We will implement security control measures to help prevent the leakage, alteration or illegal access of the personal information we collect.
  7. When we receive a request from a customer for verification, correction or discontinuation of his or her own collected personal information, we will take appropriate steps within reasonable time and appropriate range limits.
  8. We will provide education and supervision to our executives and employees so that they all understand the importance of protecting personal information and comply with our policies.

Handling of personal information on this website
  1. The purposes of use of personal information
    We will use our customers’ personal information principally for the following purposes:
    • (1) Providing them with information about our services;
    • (2) receiving their emails with feedback, requests and questions through “Inquiry forms” on our website in order to improve our services;
    • (3) contacting our customers to reply to their feedback, requests and questions received as aforementioned in (2) by email or on the phone;
    • (4) providing new graduates interested in joining our company (hereafter referred to as “entrants”) with access to the career application procedure through “Careers” on our website; and
    • (5) informing the entrants about the schedule of information sessions by emails. If we use personal information for any other purposes, we will first specify the purpose of use and obtain individual consent from customers.
  2. Protection and control of personal information
    We will handle personal information provided by our customers through our website with the utmost care.
    • We are committed to respect our customers’ privacy; our goal is to protect personal information with maximum attention as well as to properly control that information.
    • We may outsource the operation of our website or the collecting and managing of personal information. In such cases, we will strictly supervise and control such providers under contract to ensure compliance with our policies to protect personal information.
  3. Disclosure of personal information
    We will not disclose, offer or transfer our customers’ personal information to third parties without obtaining their consent except for the following cases:
    • (1) When the personal information is necessary for our subcontractors or affiliate companies to pursue specific operations. For instance, we may have to provide our transport operators with the addresses and names of our customers for the purpose of sending documents.
    • (2) When we are requested to disclose personal information in accordance with Japanese law by public institutions such as the judicial agencies or the police department.
    • (3) When it is a case of emergency involving human lives or rights.
    • (4) When we are asked to comply with other legal demands.
