Building a sustainable supply chain
In Japan, as the working age population shrinks and in response to the “2024 problem” related to new regulations on truck drivers’ working hours, we have integrated delivery companies from across Japan into the Yasuda Logistics Group through mergers and acquisitions. This has increased the geographical coverage of the Group, and facilitated cooperation within the Group to leverage economies of scale and optimize our transport and delivery network.
Furthermore, the Group has introduced various labor-saving measures into its logistics operations to make supply chains more sustainable, such as using unmanned forklifts and autonomous mobile robots at logistics centers, and deploying generative AI and other technologies to digitally transform its logistics processes.

Lowering environmental impact in the supply chain
