Our management philosophy for the Yasuda Logistics Group is to realize prosperity and its aspirations through sound corporate activities in response to the expectations of customers, shareholders, employees, and their communities. For more than a century, the Group has been working to realize a recycle-oriented society through our logistics and real estate businesses. For more than a century, the Group has been helping communities reuse and recycle resources through our logistics and real estate businesses. Today, however, sustainability has emerged as an increasingly important global trend since the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were declared at the UN Sustainable Development Summit in 2015. So, companies are expected to operate with more awareness of the SDGs. Against this backdrop, to ensure that the Yasuda Logistics Group grows in the future, our management has been focusing on the global environment and sustainability more than ever, while continuing to be an essential enterprise for the communities we serve. In February 2022, to clarify the direction of the Group’s sustainability management, we specified four key challenges to prioritize as material issues. In the sustainability section of our website, we have organized several topics related to these material issues, under environmental, social, and governance (ESG), and have presented our initiatives to help resolve them. I hope this information is useful for stakeholders to understand the Group’s approach and initiatives. We want the Yasuda Logistics Group to be highly evaluated by all stakeholders, so by openly listening and responding to feedback, we intend to continue offering our value, the YASDA Value. At the same time, by flexibly adapting to major changes around the world, the Group will work for a more prosperous and sustainable future.
